Native American Presence at Taylor-Bray Farm

Before the Taylor family established the farm, the site had been inhabited for thousands of years. Learn when Native Americans were here and how they used the site of the farm

The Taylor-Bray Farm Archaeological Project has made significant discoveries in 2013 and again in 2015 which show Native Americans seasonally occupied the area around the farm as much as 10,000 years ago. Craig Chartier, the project archaeologist at the farm, discusses some of these findings and the goals of upcoming fieldwork in this video.
